This game was made for Micro Jam 029, with the theme of Poison and the prerequisite of Health is the currency.

Life Shot is a fast-paced arcade top-down shooter roguelite with retro graphics. It is inspired by games like Vampire Survivors, Brotato, and my own game, Food Knockout.

There are constant waves of enemies coming towards the player, and the player is also constantly being poisoned. Every 2 seconds, the player gets 2 damage. The elixir, which doubles as both the player's health and the currency of the game, is the green item that spawns naturally occasionally and from enemies. Every 30 seconds, the shop activates, allowing the player to purchase stat upgrades. However, be careful not to spend all your money because you will die!
